How else could a new year start than with some great bubbles/sparkling wine?
The one we have now is a methode traditionelle -which is not only about the classic assemblage of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier but aged in bottle for at least 18 months on yeast lees as well.
Chardonnay gives elegance, while Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier add weight and creamy flavour to it.
Grapes come from Marlborough and Hawkes Bay regions of New Zealand.
A complex style with nutty flavours and a foaming creamy texture, it's delicate in its attack yet has lots of body and is persistent in it lingering flavour. Nutty, creamy, lightly floral with a hint of strawberry adding subtle sweetness to the finish, this offers sophisticated drinking for NZ$20.
Ready to drink, but can be cellared for up to two years.
