Jules Taylor Rosé 2009

Just brilliant!

This is the first Rosé to be produced under the Jules Taylor banner, and it’s a stunner. Made from 100% Merlot, fruit was sourced from Peter Briant’s vineyard at Patutahi, in Gisborne, New Zealand. Harvesting in the middle of the night meant the fruit stayed cool. The grapes were crushed and the skins remained in contact with the fruit for only 12 hours, before fermenting with selected yeast strains. The result is an absolutely delicious Rosé with deep colour, wonderful intense raspberry and strawberry flavours and a lingering fruit-filled finish.

For NZ$ 22.
