Teuzzo is named after Pietro di Teuzzo, original owner of the vineyard located in the heart of the Classico zone.

A Sangiovese-dominated blend fermented in stainless steel and matured for twelve months in oak barriques, it is an intense ruby colour with a fragrant bouquet of morello cherry, spice and oak.
Generally flavoured, well balanced, with distinctive cherry and plum flavours complemented by nutmeg nuanced, a mellow tannin structure and a lingering aftertaste.

Quite complex for just NZ$ 37.
Can be cellared for up to 3 years from now.

This wine, born out of the classical blending of red tuscan grapes, is obtained from the vinification of grapes grown in the best Chianti producing areas of Tuscany (mainly from the area of Rufina).

It has a deep ruby colour with purple pale, an intense fruity (mainly cherry, black currant) and flowery bouquet with excellent structure in a mellow and harmonious body.

I would say a bit young, it's real face and temper will be shown after cellaring for 3-5 years.

This wine represent a perfect match for fresh and seasoned cheese, lamb, and beef -especially when they are made a spicy, italian way.

It has a very friendly price: € 10.
